# OpEvol vs Best

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Best at 100% against OpEvol's 27%. Best also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 22 months) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OpEvol sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $6.99 per year and Best sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OpEvol ships an update every 22 months, Best every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
