# CanvasView vs Wallpaper Maker

The clearest difference is rating: Wallpaper Maker at 5.0 against CanvasView's 3.3. Wallpaper Maker also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). CanvasView's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wallpaper Maker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. CanvasView asks for nothing beyond the download.

Wallpaper Maker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CanvasView has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CanvasView ships an update every 3 months, Wallpaper Maker every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
