# AmRide vs Elife Driver

The clearest difference is rating: Elife Driver at 3.5 against AmRide's 2.7. Elife Driver also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (170 vs 27). AmRide's advantage is review sentiment (47% vs 28%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Elife Driver holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Elife Driver has 170 ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of AmRide's written reviews are positive against 28% of Elife Driver's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AmRide ships an update every 2 months, Elife Driver weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
