# AmRide vs Hovr

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Hovr at 100% against AmRide's 47%. Hovr also leads on rating (5.0 vs 2.7) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). AmRide's advantage is ratings volume (27 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hovr holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.7.
