# Stepwise Pedometer vs Steply

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Stepwise Pedometer at 83% against Steply's 33%. Stepwise Pedometer also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (3.7K vs 13). Steply's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stepwise Pedometer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.49 per year and Steply sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stepwise Pedometer holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stepwise Pedometer has 3.7K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two.
