# NAPA DVI vs TopInfrared

The clearest difference is rating: NAPA DVI at 5.0 against TopInfrared's 3.5. NAPA DVI also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1). TopInfrared's advantage is review sentiment (40% vs 0%) and ratings volume (52 vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TopInfrared sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. NAPA DVI asks for nothing beyond the download.

NAPA DVI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TopInfrared has 52 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of NAPA DVI's written reviews are positive against 40% of TopInfrared's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NAPA DVI ships an update every 2 months, TopInfrared every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
