# fanSync Bluetooth vs OvrC

The clearest difference is update cadence: OvrC at fortnightly against fanSync Bluetooth's every 2 months. fanSync Bluetooth's advantage is review sentiment (25% vs 9%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.5). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OvrC holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 2.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 79 and 44 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of fanSync Bluetooth's written reviews are positive against 9% of OvrC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

fanSync Bluetooth ships an update every 2 months, OvrC fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
