# IMSA vs Detroit GP

IMSA and Detroit GP both sit at 4.1 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of Detroit GP's written reviews are positive against 28% of IMSA's. Detroit GP also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). IMSA's advantage is ratings volume (69 vs 15). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IMSA holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 69 and 15 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of IMSA's written reviews are positive against 80% of Detroit GP's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

IMSA ships an update every 2 months, Detroit GP weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
