# Jodel vs Airfeed

The clearest difference is rating: Jodel at 4.4 against Airfeed's 3.0. Jodel also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (121K vs 16). Airfeed's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). On price and review sentiment there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jodel sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Airfeed asks for nothing beyond the download.

Jodel holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jodel has 121K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Jodel's written reviews are positive against 67% of Airfeed's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Jodel ships an update every 2 weeks, Airfeed every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
