# Intelli Flashcards vs Flashcards maker

The clearest difference is rating: Flashcards maker at 4.5 against Intelli Flashcards's 3.7. Flashcards maker also leads on ratings volume (667 vs 21). Intelli Flashcards's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (85% vs 62%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Intelli Flashcards sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Flashcards maker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flashcards maker holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flashcards maker has 667 ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of Intelli Flashcards's written reviews are positive against 62% of Flashcards maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Intelli Flashcards ships an update every 3 weeks, Flashcards maker every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
