# Timers! vs re

The clearest difference is rating: re at 5.0 against Timers!'s 1.0. re also leads on ratings volume (7 vs 1). Timers!'s advantage is price ($0.99 vs $1.99) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On review sentiment, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Timers! costs $0.99 and re $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

re holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: re has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Timers! ships an update every 6 months, re every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
