# Exposure Events vs PLL

Exposure Events and PLL both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 85% of PLL's written reviews are positive against 16% of Exposure Events's. Exposure Events's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PLL holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Exposure Events has 28K ratings behind it against 4.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 16% of Exposure Events's written reviews are positive against 85% of PLL's.

Exposure Events ships an update every 2 weeks, PLL weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
