# BTU XT vs Kindoo

The clearest difference is rating: BTU XT at 5.0 against Kindoo's 3.6. BTU XT also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). Kindoo's advantage is update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (38 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BTU XT holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kindoo has 38 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BTU XT ships an update every 2 months, Kindoo every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
