# Real Percussion vs Drum Solo Studio

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Real Percussion at 1.7K against Drum Solo Studio's 10. Drum Solo Studio's advantage is review sentiment (63% vs 53%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Real Percussion sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Drum Solo Studio sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Real Percussion against 4.4 for Drum Solo Studio. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Real Percussion has 1.7K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two.
