# One Putt Golf vs Tricky Traps

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Tricky Traps at 616 against One Putt Golf's 49. One Putt Golf's advantage is review sentiment (54% vs 43%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. One Putt Golf sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tricky Traps sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tricky Traps holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tricky Traps has 616 ratings behind it against 49, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of One Putt Golf's written reviews are positive against 43% of Tricky Traps's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
