# mySteps vs Walka

The clearest difference is ads: mySteps at none against Walka's shown. mySteps also leads on iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. mySteps sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Walka sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
