# Weather? vs Weather ⁰

The clearest difference is rating: Weather ⁰ at 4.5 against Weather?'s 3.6. Weather ⁰ also leads on ratings volume (1.5K vs 24) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Weather?'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (70% vs 36%). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Weather ⁰ holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weather ⁰ has 1.5K ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Weather?'s written reviews are positive against 36% of Weather ⁰'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Weather? ships an update every 7 months, Weather ⁰ every 6 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
