# See Saw vs HOFA

The clearest difference is ratings volume: See Saw at 266 against HOFA's 3. See Saw also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.3). HOFA's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 82%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

See Saw holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: See Saw has 266 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of See Saw's written reviews are positive against 100% of HOFA's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

See Saw ships an update every 2 months, HOFA every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
