# AES Crypt vs Cryptomator

The clearest difference is rating: Cryptomator at 4.4 against AES Crypt's 2.8. Cryptomator also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 9 months) and review sentiment (63% vs 42%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
