# iDigiFrame vs Shuffle Photos

The clearest difference is rating: Shuffle Photos at 4.6 against iDigiFrame's 3.9. Shuffle Photos also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 21 months) and ratings volume (346 vs 7). iDigiFrame's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (9.3 vs 13.0). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iDigiFrame sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per year and Shuffle Photos sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shuffle Photos holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shuffle Photos has 346 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of iDigiFrame's written reviews are positive against 72% of Shuffle Photos's.

iDigiFrame ships an update every 21 months, Shuffle Photos every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
