# EESpeech Lite vs Isaac AAC

The clearest difference is monetization model: EESpeech Lite at free with in-app purchases against Isaac AAC's subscription. EESpeech Lite also leads on ratings volume (7 vs 1) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 14.0). Isaac AAC's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EESpeech Lite sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Isaac AAC sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Isaac AAC holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EESpeech Lite has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

EESpeech Lite ships an update every 6 weeks, Isaac AAC weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
