# EESpeech Lite vs CardChat

The clearest difference is update cadence: CardChat at every 9 days against EESpeech Lite's every 6 weeks. EESpeech Lite's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EESpeech Lite sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and CardChat sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EESpeech Lite ships an update every 6 weeks, CardChat every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
