# Sensi vs Maytag

The clearest difference is monetization model: Maytag at free against Sensi's free with in-app purchases. Sensi's advantage is ratings volume (246K vs 46K). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Sensi against 4.7 for Maytag. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sensi has 246K ratings behind it against 46K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 35% of Sensi's written reviews are positive against 30% of Maytag's.

Sensi ships an update monthly, Maytag every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
