# FUJIFILM Camera Remote vs YI Mirrorless

The clearest difference is update cadence: YI Mirrorless at every 3 weeks against FUJIFILM Camera Remote's every 3 months. YI Mirrorless also leads on rating (1.7 vs 1.4) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). FUJIFILM Camera Remote's advantage is ratings volume (3.3K vs 44). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

YI Mirrorless holds the better App Store score, 1.7 against 1.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FUJIFILM Camera Remote has 3.3K ratings behind it against 44, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of FUJIFILM Camera Remote's written reviews are positive against 3% of YI Mirrorless's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FUJIFILM Camera Remote ships an update every 3 months, YI Mirrorless every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
