# El Comercio Perú vs MGP Ríos

El Comercio Perú and MGP Ríos both sit at 4.2 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of MGP Ríos's written reviews are positive against 25% of El Comercio Perú's. MGP Ríos also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). El Comercio Perú's advantage is ratings volume (179 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

El Comercio Perú holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: El Comercio Perú has 179 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of El Comercio Perú's written reviews are positive against 100% of MGP Ríos's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

El Comercio Perú ships an update every 5 weeks, MGP Ríos every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
