# Answer Sheet vs SAT Prep & Practice by Magoosh

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Answer Sheet at none against SAT Prep & Practice by Magoosh's 1. Answer Sheet also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 7 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 90%). SAT Prep & Practice by Magoosh's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 9) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SAT Prep & Practice by Magoosh sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Answer Sheet asks for nothing beyond the download.

SAT Prep & Practice by Magoosh holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SAT Prep & Practice by Magoosh has 1.1K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Answer Sheet's written reviews are positive against 90% of SAT Prep & Practice by Magoosh's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
