# BabySparks vs Potty Whiz

The clearest difference is update cadence: Potty Whiz at every 4 days against BabySparks's every 3 weeks. Potty Whiz also leads on device support (4 vs 2). BabySparks's advantage is review sentiment (56% vs 44%) and ratings volume (13K vs 1.9K). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BabySparks sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Potty Whiz sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for BabySparks against 4.6 for Potty Whiz. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BabySparks has 13K ratings behind it against 1.9K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 56% of BabySparks's written reviews are positive against 44% of Potty Whiz's.

BabySparks ships an update every 3 weeks, Potty Whiz every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
