# Kiteworks vs Student Planner

The clearest difference is price: Kiteworks at Free against Student Planner's $9.99. Kiteworks also leads on review sentiment (73% vs 55%) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 6 months). Student Planner's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On rating, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Kiteworks is free to download; Student Planner costs $9.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Student Planner holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kiteworks has 173 ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Kiteworks's written reviews are positive against 55% of Student Planner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Kiteworks ships an update every 3 months, Student Planner every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
