# OmniLogic vs Rachio

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: OmniLogic at none against Rachio's 5. OmniLogic also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (68% vs 57%). Rachio's advantage is ratings volume (158K vs 8.8K) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rachio sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. OmniLogic asks for nothing beyond the download.

Rachio holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rachio has 158K ratings behind it against 8.8K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of OmniLogic's written reviews are positive against 57% of Rachio's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
