# Dj Joan vs DJ Santana

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Dj Joan at none against DJ Santana's 3. Dj Joan also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). DJ Santana's advantage is ratings volume (893 vs 30). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DJ Santana sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per year. Dj Joan asks for nothing beyond the download.

Dj Joan holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DJ Santana has 893 ratings behind it against 30, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Dj Joan's written reviews are positive against 70% of DJ Santana's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dj Joan ships an update monthly, DJ Santana every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
