# KosherDate vs Mehri

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mehri at every 3 days against KosherDate's every 11 months. KosherDate's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KosherDate sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Mehri sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

KosherDate ships an update every 11 months, Mehri every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
