# LED Banner Pro vs Placard

The clearest difference is rating: LED Banner Pro at 4.8 against Placard's 1.0. LED Banner Pro also leads on ratings volume (6.1K vs 1) and review sentiment (81% vs 67%). Placard's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LED Banner Pro sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Placard sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LED Banner Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LED Banner Pro has 6.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 81% of LED Banner Pro's written reviews are positive against 67% of Placard's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
