# Paint Professional HD... vs Drawing ▫

The clearest difference is rating: Drawing ▫ at 4.1 against Paint Professional HD...'s 1.7. Drawing ▫ also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 15 months) and ratings volume (15K vs 3). Paint Professional HD...'s advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 13) and review sentiment (48% vs 24%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drawing ▫ sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Paint Professional HD... asks for nothing beyond the download.

Drawing ▫ holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drawing ▫ has 15K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of Paint Professional HD...'s written reviews are positive against 24% of Drawing ▫'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Paint Professional HD... ships an update every 15 months, Drawing ▫ every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
