# Handris! vs 12 LOCKS Handris! and 12 LOCKS both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 89% of 12 LOCKS's written reviews are positive against 50% of Handris!'s. 12 LOCKS also leads on ratings volume (3.2K vs 6) and update cadence (every 7 months vs every 22 months). Handris!'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them. Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay. Handris! holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 12 LOCKS has 3.2K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Handris!'s written reviews are positive against 89% of 12 LOCKS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about. Handris! ships an update every 22 months, 12 LOCKS every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively. ## The numbers | Metric | Handris! | 12 LOCKS | | --- | --- | --- | | Price | Free | Free | | Rating | **[4.8 (6 ratings)](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/handris/id796990877/reviews)** | [4.6 (3.2K ratings)](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/12-locks/id1504871805/reviews) | | Number of ratings | 6 | **3.2K** | | Positive reviews | 50.0% of reviews | **88.8% of reviews** | | In-app purchases | No | No | | Ads | **No** | Yes | | Update frequency | Every 22 months | **Every 7 months** | | Monetization | **Free** | Ad-supported | | Size | 41 MB | 44 MB | | Requires iOS | **6.1** | 12.0 | | Devices | iPhone, iPad, iPod | iPhone, iPad, iPod | | Age rating | 9+ | 4+ | | Developer | [hap Inc.](https://appshunter.io/developer/470473550) | [Rudolfs Lacinovs](https://appshunter.io/developer/1504871804) | ## What reviewers say ### Handris!
