# Visional vs Vivrelle

The clearest difference is rating: Visional at 5.0 against Vivrelle's 4.0. Visional also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs subscription). Vivrelle's advantage is ratings volume (81 vs 6) and review sentiment (73% vs 60%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Visional holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vivrelle has 81 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Visional's written reviews are positive against 73% of Vivrelle's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Visional ships an update fortnightly, Vivrelle every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
