# Disk Mounter vs I

The clearest difference is rating: I at 5.0 against Disk Mounter's 3.8. I also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly). Disk Mounter's advantage is review sentiment (65% vs 50%). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Disk Mounter sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. I asks for nothing beyond the download.

I holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Disk Mounter's written reviews are positive against 50% of I's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Disk Mounter ships an update monthly, I every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on September 13, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
