# Pensieve vs EmailMe

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pensieve at every 6 weeks against EmailMe's every 13 months. Pensieve also leads on ratings volume (82 vs 4) and device support (4 vs 1). EmailMe's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 91%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pensieve sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and EmailMe sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Pensieve against 4.8 for EmailMe. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pensieve has 82 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 91% of Pensieve's written reviews are positive against 100% of EmailMe's.

Pensieve ships an update every 6 weeks, EmailMe every 13 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
