# Caf vs Inst'AMU

The clearest difference is rating: Inst'AMU at 5.0 against Caf's 2.8. Caf's advantage is review sentiment (63% vs 36%) and ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Inst'AMU holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Caf has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Caf's written reviews are positive against 36% of Inst'AMU's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Caf ships an update every 5 months, Inst'AMU every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
