# PhotoStudy vs Physics Homework

The clearest difference is ads: Physics Homework at none against PhotoStudy's shown. Physics Homework also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months). PhotoStudy's advantage is ratings volume (2.1K vs 18) and rating (4.2 vs 3.9). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PhotoStudy sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Physics Homework sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PhotoStudy holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PhotoStudy has 2.1K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 70% of PhotoStudy's written reviews are positive against 67% of Physics Homework's.

PhotoStudy ships an update every 2 months, Physics Homework every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
