# Hyper vs Bryx Alerts

The clearest difference is rating: Bryx Alerts at 3.7 against Hyper's 2.2. Bryx Alerts also leads on update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 3 months). Hyper's advantage is ratings volume (19 vs 3) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bryx Alerts holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hyper has 19 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Hyper ships an update every 3 months, Bryx Alerts every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
