# ESC Link vs iVT Off

The clearest difference is rating: iVT Off at 5.0 against ESC Link's 2.2. iVT Off also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 months). ESC Link's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (5.1.1 vs 17.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

iVT Off holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ESC Link has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ESC Link ships an update every 6 months, iVT Off every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
