# Mixoo vs Layapp

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Mixoo at 87% against Layapp's 40%. Mixoo also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 23 months) and ratings volume (7K vs 17). Layapp's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mixoo sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Layapp sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mixoo holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mixoo has 7K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 87% of Mixoo's written reviews are positive against 40% of Layapp's.

Mixoo ships an update every 3 weeks, Layapp every 23 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
