# Magic Letters ABC vs ABC Kids

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ABC Kids at 100% against Magic Letters ABC's 54%. ABC Kids also leads on ratings volume (126 vs 16). Magic Letters ABC's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magic Letters ABC sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and ABC Kids sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Magic Letters ABC holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ABC Kids has 126 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Magic Letters ABC's written reviews are positive against 100% of ABC Kids's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Magic Letters ABC ships an update every 2 months, ABC Kids every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
