# Scavify vs Journey Hunt

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Scavify at none against Journey Hunt's 5. Scavify also leads on ratings volume (1K vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). Journey Hunt's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months). On price, rating, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Journey Hunt sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Scavify asks for nothing beyond the download.

Journey Hunt holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scavify has 1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Scavify ships an update every 5 months, Journey Hunt weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
