# Windy vs Musizi

The clearest difference is rating: Windy at 4.0 against Musizi's 1.0. Windy also leads on ratings volume (40 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.3 vs 15.6). Musizi's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 52%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Windy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Musizi sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Windy holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Windy has 40 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Windy's written reviews are positive against 80% of Musizi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
