# Windy vs Panora

The clearest difference is update cadence: Panora at every 4 days against Windy's monthly. Windy's advantage is iOS requirement (11.3 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Windy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Panora sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Windy ships an update monthly, Panora every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
