# ezClocker vs Time Squared

The clearest difference is monetization model: Time Squared at freemium against ezClocker's subscription. Time Squared also leads on review sentiment (89% vs 74%) and device support (3 vs 1). ezClocker's advantage is chart position (#125 vs unranked) and ratings volume (13K vs 2.5K). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ezClocker sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Time Squared sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for ezClocker against 4.9 for Time Squared. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ezClocker has 13K ratings behind it against 2.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 74% of ezClocker's written reviews are positive against 89% of Time Squared's.

ezClocker ships an update every 3 weeks, Time Squared monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
