# NymEx vs BDnF

The clearest difference is review sentiment: NymEx at 100% against BDnF's 21%. NymEx also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.4) and device support (3 vs 1). BDnF's advantage is update cadence (every 6 months vs every 31 months) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NymEx holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BDnF has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of NymEx's written reviews are positive against 21% of BDnF's.

NymEx ships an update every 31 months, BDnF every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on September 14, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
