# i vs Memorize Texts

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Memorize Texts at 80% against i's 43%. Memorize Texts also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.6 vs 4.2). i's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. i sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Memorize Texts sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Memorize Texts holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Memorize Texts has 2.6K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 43% of i's written reviews are positive against 80% of Memorize Texts's.

i ships an update every 6 days, Memorize Texts every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
