# Rasty Pelican vs Hungry Hippo Attack Simulator

The clearest difference is rating: Rasty Pelican at 5.0 against Hungry Hippo Attack Simulator's 4.4. Rasty Pelican also leads on iOS requirement (7.0 vs 12.0). Hungry Hippo Attack Simulator's advantage is ratings volume (107 vs 9). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rasty Pelican sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Hungry Hippo Attack Simulator sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rasty Pelican holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hungry Hippo Attack Simulator has 107 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Rasty Pelican's written reviews are positive against 86% of Hungry Hippo Attack Simulator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rasty Pelican ships an update every 21 months, Hungry Hippo Attack Simulator every 13 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
